I strongly recommend labnol.org to create you your Sitemap. But if you've already created it. Please skip this step to the next; otherwise head right here>labnol.org
Type in your website URL and create Sitemap.
- STEP 2
- Login your Google search console..
- Click on Add Property and enter your Site URL
- If that's done; click on Sitemaps.
If you created your Sitemap with Labnol.org as I recommended your sitemap should look like this.
User-agent: *4. Add https://yourwebsite.com/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500
Disallow: /search
Allow: /
Sitemap: https://yourwebsite.com/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500
5. Then Submit.
If done accurately you should see a screen telling you you've successfully added your Sitemap to Google search console.
Next, go to your Blogger.com dashboard, navigate to Settings –> Search Preferences, enable Custom robots.txt option (available in the Crawling and Indexing section). Paste the entire XML sitemap here and save your changes.
